Coconuts have many roles in the Kitchen where their water milk, cream, oil and flesh are all in demand for many sweet and savoury dishes.

Coconut milk and cream is made by squeezing the flesh in water and straining. It is used in spicy curries and soups to flavour and cool the heat of the dish. It is delicious in sweets like coconut rice pudding or ice cream and becoming widely used in smoothies for a refreshing drink.

The oil is made by pressing the flesh and is used in making margarine, confectionery and bakery products and frying.

Coconut flesh can used fresh, grated, sliced, halved or decicated in numerous sweet and savoury dishes.
